    Examly is for any student preparing for competitive exams. Parents can have multiple children on the platform and track their progress and ranking. 

  • How much does it cost?

    Examly is free to join and free to take mock tests. Users can subscribe for advanced features, like custom study plans, advanced analytics and practice tests.

  • What is the difference between mock test and practice test?

    Mock tests are done once a week with all the students at the same time. Mock tests mimic an exam and allow the ranking of students.

    Practice tests are specific to a single topic and it allows the student to concentrate on weaker areas. Practice tests can be taken at any time.

  • What is 11+

    The 11+ is a selective entrance exam for secondary school. 11+ is the standard for both state-funded grammar schools and many private schools to identify the top academic performant children. The 11+ exam is taken towards the end of Year 5 or the beginning of Year 6 of primary school. 

  • What is covered in 11+ exam?

    There are four main subjects tested in 11 Plus exams: verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, maths, and English. The combination of the subjects varies across the grammar schools and the layout of the papers and length of examinations also varies across different areas and exam boards.

  • What Exam boards are there for 11+?

    The two most common exam boards are CEM and GL. Some schools like Eaton, Westminster of Harrow set their own exams.

  • When does the 11+ exam take place?

    The date of the selection exam to a grammar school varies from area to area. Most grammar schools have their entrance exam in the months of September & October, with a few schools having exams in July. Independent grammar schools may set their exams during other times in the year.
