Terms & Conditions Wordera

1. Terms

By downloading or using the Wordera mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you should not use Wordera. The materials, images, quizzes, and lessons contained in the App are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to use Wordera for personal and educational purposes. Under this license you may:
1. use the App to learn new vocabulary and complete lessons and quizzes;
2. use Wordera in a classroom or educational setting for teaching purposes;
3. create and manage your own learning progress using a registered account.
Under this license you may not:
1. copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the App’s content (including images, words, or quizzes);
2. use the App or its data for advertising, commercial resale, or data mining;
3. inject or upload any malicious code, malware, or harmful software;
4. upload content or files that are illegal, harmful, or inappropriate for children;
5. reverse engineer or attempt to extract the App’s source code;
6. remove or alter any copyright or trademark notices from Wordera’s materials.
This license will automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions. Examly.ai may terminate your access to Wordera at any time for misuse or unlawful behaviour.

3. Subscription and Payments

Wordera offers a 7-day free trial and a monthly subscription for Premium features (currently €4.99/month).
Subscriptions and payments are securely managed through Apple’s App Store. You can cancel or manage your subscription in your Apple ID → Subscriptions settings at any time.
If you cancel, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

4. Children and Educational Use

Wordera is designed for learners of all ages. For children under 13, a parent, guardian, or teacher should assist with account setup and supervision. The App contains no ads and does not collect unnecessary personal data. All information collected is used only to provide learning progress and performance analytics.

5. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, store, and protect your information. By using Wordera, you consent to that policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in Wordera — including lessons, images, illustrations, code, and design — is the property of Examly.ai. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content outside the App without written permission.

7. Disclaimer

The App is provided on an “as is” basis. Examly.ai makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation or accuracy of Wordera’s materials.
Examly.ai does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. Features may change or be updated at any time.

8. Limitations

In no event shall Examly.ai or its partners be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, loss of learning progress, subscription fees, or data) resulting from the use or inability to use the App. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability, these limitations may not apply to you.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time in the App under Profile → Delete Account. All personal data linked to your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Premium subscriptions must be cancelled separately in Apple ID settings.

10. Updates and Modifications

Examly.ai may revise these Terms of Service or update the App at any time without notice. Continued use of Wordera after updates means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands and the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
